2018 Feathers and Frost Simple Holiday Card

Hi, there! I hope everyone is enjoying the Holiday Season! I am getting back into card making after some time away focusing on family. Attended the Stampin’ Up! 30th Birthday Celebration at OnStage! Live in Orlando this past November. It was amazing!! Nothing like a Stampin’ Up! OnStage! event to get your mojo back. We learned to begin designing our cards with all crafter levels in mind – the beginner crafter, the casual crafter, and the avid crafter. I absolutely love this paradigm shift!!! Most of my designs were created at my level – avid crafter. So suffice it to say, it has been quite the challenge. But I always love a good challenge 🙂 I have been trying to start with a simple beginner design and then add to it to create casual and avid crafter versions.

So this is a simple holiday card, using one of my favorite sets, Feathers and Frost, from the 2018 Holiday Catalog and Stampin’ Blends. It requires minimal supplies: one stamp set, one ink color, and blender pens to add color and pop.  I also used some Wink of Stella and rhinestones but these are completely optional. The card recipe and supplies used can be found at the end of this post. Look forward to sharing my journey through this design challenge! Would love to hear your feedback – especially on whether you feel the card design fits with your crafting level!!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Please come back again soon!! Until then Peace, Love and Season’s Greetings!!!
