Navy & White Sympathy

Sympathy cards are always hard! I have a hard time dealing with death and funerals, as I am sure most of us do. So, I love to make handmade cards to focus putting as much love as possible into each card. Using my craft to express my deepest sorrow and love, is one way I found to help.

This card is made with Stampin’ Up! products (new + retired), Cuttlebug’s Birds and Swirls embossing folder, and Wplus9’s Gift Card Layers stitched frame die. The colors are SU! Night of Navy and Whisper White. I used a retired SU! DSP – Floral Boutique, which I purchased specifically for sympathy cards. Floral Boutique is a beautiful collection of navy and white patterns and florals. I love the elegance of navy and white. I used the SU! Flourishing Phrases stamp set and SU! Flourish Thinlits dies. Both of these items are perfect for sympathy cards. The stamp set has great sentiments for sympathy, thank you, or get well cards. The die set is an elegant set of flourishes, leaves, and flowers that pairs well with the stamp set. I also used the SU! Stitched Shaped Framelits for the sentiment. Finally, I added SU!
