Repost from March 2017
Hi there! Wow, what a first month! Can I just say that the Stampin’ Up! Community is awesome! First of all my upline, Toni Campana is wonderful! Before I even received my Starter Kit, I joined a group of demonstrators in Durham, NC for a monthly group that supports the Durham Ronald McDonald House. All the ladies were warm and welcoming. They made me feel right at home. We all created gift boxes and filled them with candy for the children and staff of the Ronald McDonald House. I had never visited the house before and I was taken away with how much detail and effort was made to make it feel warm and inviting.
With much anticipation, I received my Starter Kit and dug in. So much information, not to mention wonderful product…what to do first? All this calls for some serious craft room organizing. For now the product stays in the box :). But wait, another Stampin’ Up! (SU!) event. More wonderful ladies and great information.
Back to organizing, and what to do about social media? Lots of questions but great support available at every turn. All while using my favorite SU! die set, so far, the Baker’s Box Thinlits Dies. This is a great box to give small gifts. I am making them for our Girl Scout Troop to fill with candy and patches.
Thanks for stopping by! Stay tuned for more and share my journey as the story unfolds…
