Easter Treatbox

Here is a quick and easy treatbox made with Lawn Fawn stamps and dies. We are making these boxes in our Girl Scout Easter crafting Meeting. I used Lawn Fawn’s Fancy Box die set along with their Hoppy Easter stamp and die set.  1 sheet of 81/2×11 single sided patterned cardstock will yield 2 boxes. I used some Recollections Spotted cardstock I had in my stash. If you cut the cardstock in half lengthwise (5 1/2″), each half will fit the Fancy Box die, oval stitched die, and the Hoppy Easter dies. Place the Fancy Box die lined up in the bottom right  corner. Place the stitched oval die in the top left corner, then cut with die cutting tool. Use the back (white) side of the remains to stamp the Hoppy Easter set in an Easter color that coordinates with your paper. I used Stampin’ Up Flirty Flamingo. You can then color them or leave them as-is (which I did for simplicity). Then die cut with matching dies. Use liquid adhesive to attach the bunny, basket and egg to the stamped stitched oval. Assemble your box by folding all score lines inward. Attach the four corner flaps with tear-n-tape. Box is now ready for it’s treat😃. I used Reese’s Peanutbutter Eggs but it could hold a gift card instead, or other candy. Once filled, close the box and insert scalloped flap into matching opening. Attach the oval sentiment to the box with dimensionals on the top and bottom of the oval (so twine can be feed thru center). Cut a length of coordinating baker’s twine (I used lime green + white). Place the twine thru the center on the sentiment, wrap around the back and bring to the front top and bottom. Feed the bottom piece of twine under the sentiment, join with the top piece and tie a bow. All done😊.

I love this Fancy Box die❤️ I have used it on so many occasion. It is so easy to put together because it is cut in one piece. All you have to do is fold and tape😃

Throwback Thursday

I started my stash of B-Day cards for the Durham NC Ronald McDonald House. In conjunction with my 1 yr anniversary on Instagram, I decided to use some older posts as inspiration😁. Went back to one of my 1st @simonsaysstamp monthly kits – April 2017. Showed it to my sweet daughter and her words “didn’t you do a card like that before” … wish I still had my memory 😝

Here’s a little comparision … I love what 1 yr can do!!!

Thank you for stopping by! Please come again!! Peace, love and coffee 🙂

2018 Beautiful Friend

2018 Beautiful Friend card using Stampin’ Up! Sale-A-Bration Beautiful Peacock stamp set.

Hi there! Today’s post is an all occasion card featuring the Stampin’ Up! 2018 Sale-A-Bration Beautiful Peacock stamp set. I made this card for our monthly Stamping For a Cause event. These events are organized to benefit the Durham’s (NC) Ronald McDonald House. We have a great group of NC Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrators that meet monthly for friendship, fun, food, and stamping…all for a great cause!

The card comes together fairly easy, with simple cuts and punches. It features all Stampin’ Up! products. I used the Beautiful Peacock stamp set, the Eastern Palace DSP, and the Mini Tassels from the Eastern Palace Suite. I also used the new Scattered Sequins Dynamic Textured Impressions embossing folder, absolutely love the texture this creates! Supply List is provided below; as well as a link to detailed instructions :). This is such an elegant stamp set that can be used for many occasions.

The Beautiful Peacock stamp set can be yours free with a $50 Stampin’ Up! purchase through 3/31/2018. Visit my store by clicking the “Shop” link in my menu bar. If you have any questions or would like more information, contact my via the “Contact” link in my menu bar. I would love to help.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Please come again 🙂 Peace, Love and Coffee!
